I’ve recently become obsessed with a fashion blog called Audrey À La Mode, a blog about creating and dressing with a capsule wardrobe. Capsule wardrobes have always fascinated me, but I never thought I was disciplined enough to have one (just so you know, capsule wardrobes are meant to contain a small amount of classic closet staples). My closet has always been that of a maximalist’s, messy with a bunch of quirky things that I’ve found at thrift shops.
As I get older my crazy wardrobe is becoming more and more difficult to work with, so I decided to finally make serious decisions about the clothes that I purchase. I’ve already made the tough decision to donate some of my older, never-worn clothes, and I’ve compiled a collection of winter staples (using the ever amazing Stylebook App).
