Tone It Up 5 Day Detox

Hello everyone! I hope you’re all staying warm this frigid weekend!

I just completed Tone It Up’s 5 Day Detox, and I’m so proud to say that I didn’t have a single slip up! If you don’t already know what Tone It Up is, I would recommend hopping on over to their site. They are essentially two personal trainers, and you can subscribe to their nutrition plan and workouts (the full package costs $$$, but I’ve found it to be well worth it). The 5 Day Detox started in the new year, and was completely free.

Overall, I loved all of the detox recipes. I didn’t ever feel THAT hungry (although I did have some nasty sugar and carb cravings). I wanted to share with you some of my photos of the food, because everything was so colorful and delicious.

    I am currently on day 1! Did you put the protein powder in your cleanse smoothie? I did this morning and I absolutely could not stand it! 😦 Any tips?

    1. Hello, thanks for commenting! I don’t like protein powder in my smoothies, either, so I usually just end up adding a smaller amount. Do you use the Tone It Up Perfect Fit protein powder? I usually add 1/8 to 1/4 of a scoop to my smoothies.

      If you still hate the taste, you can add protein other ways. A scoop of nut butter is a good way to go.

      Some mornings, I even just had the cleanse smoothie without any protein (and I would add extra chicken to my other meals). I know my sister hated the cleanse smoothie so much, she just made her own recipe. I posted one of my own smoothie recipes here:
