Tone It Up Love Your Body Series | Week Two

Hello! It’s time to do my week two check in for the Love Your Body Series!!

If you don’t already know, Tone It Up is a fitness and nutrition membership program, and they frequently have different challenges. Currently, they are doing the 6-week Love Your Body Series. Today marks the end of week two!

I had a truly unsuccessful first week, so I tried to light a fire under my butt this week. I did receive my Lifestyle Kit, which really inspired me to start taking my nutrition plan more seriously. I took all of my measurements, weighed myself, and started keeping a progress journal.

Because of all of this, week two was a mission success. I’ve already lost two pounds, so that’s always encouraging (my goal is to lose 10 lbs.). Overall, I followed all of the recipes.

My favorites this week were the oatmeal raisin cookie overnight oats, mediterranean egg muffins, moroccan stew (pictured above), and maple walnut brussel sprouts.

I did have some rough patches. My noisy neighbor kept me up for hours on end this week. I am SO sleep deprived right now (I got maybe 4 hours of sleep in the past few days). Because of this, I missed two morning workouts this week.

I also did have some Tate’s cookies, chips, and doughnuts. But, instead of letting it ruin my entire day, I just started eating healthy again at the next meal. This is Tone It Up law: if you slip up, just get it together again at the next meal.

So overall, I’m feeling pretty darned good (but sleep deprived). Looking forward to week three!
