Hello! I’ve been trying to take pictures of my outfits every day so I can upload them to the blog. I decided that February 1st would be the perfect place to start, so I only have three outfits for you today.
I had two goals this week when it came to getting dressed: to stay warm, and to wear outfits I’ve never worn before.
Turtleneck (similar here) + Plaid Skirt + Brown Leather Boots (similar here): I work at a gallery, so we are open on Saturdays. This Saturday was absolutely frigid, so I knew I should wear something extra warm — hence the turtleneck. I know this outfit might be too casual for some people’s offices, but not mine! If you need to dress this up, you can probably use a darker fitted turtleneck and maybe add a statement necklace.
Blue Button Down (similar here) + Blanket Scarf + Dark Wash Jeans (similar here) + Leopard Loafers (similar here): I recently got this blanket scarf from the Tuckernuck Winter Sale, and the scarf is still on sale for $25! The temperature in my office can fluctuate a lot, so I like being able to throw it on when I need. I am also obsessed with these leopard loafers because they can jazz up any basic outfit. If you need to dress this outfit up, you can wear trousers instead of jeans.
Black Turtleneck (similar here) + Gray Blazer (similar here) + Black Skirt (similar here) + Pointy Toe Flats (similar here) + Black Satchel: Sooo I saved my favorite for last! My boyfriend got me this adorable little black work satchel as an (early) Valentine’s Day Gift (hi Evan!!) and I’ve been using it ever since. I was originally going to go all black for this outfit, but I wanted to wear my new Stitch Fix flats…which matched perfectly with my gray blazer. I love when an outfit falls together like that.
Thanks for reading!
