Tone It Up Love Your Body Challenge | Week Six

Hello everyone! I just finished Tone It Up’s Love Your Body Challenge, and I’m going to be completely honest about how it went.

Yesterday I celebrated by taking the most luxurious bath in the world 🙂

The first week was a little bit rough, but that was to be expected. Then weeks two through four were so strong — I followed the plan, and the results were so magnificent. Doing Tone It Up’s programs REALLY work for me! I lost about four pounds, my stomach was totally flat, all of my body measurements went down, and I even had a little ab action going on. However….the last two weeks were really bad. I followed the meal plan for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner…but then I would go home and eat a ton of dessert. It was really bad! Tone It Up allows for the occasional indulgence (they just call it “enjoying life”), but they do explicitly state in your nutrition plan that you should NOT eat junk food, candy, or baked good with enriched flour. I am seeing the negative consequences in my body from it — all of my hard work has been essentially erased and I’m really sad!

I want to share this because I love being healthy, but I also have such a sweet tooth. It’s very challenging, and really discouraging when you had a great healthy day and then ruin it in a few minutes by eating a sweet at 8pm. It would be fine if this only happened occasionally…but it happened every day for the past few weeks. I feel pretty puffy.

So…I was originally going to share my before and after measurements, but that’s not going to happen now. Next week, I’m going to do the five day detox, and I’ll post them then when I’m back on track. In the meantime, here are my food photos from this week!
