For this fix, I asked for more spring and summer basics, and I asked my stylist to please refer to my Pinterest board (which has loads of colorful spring and summer outfit ideas and articles of clothing).

Stitch Fix is an online personal shopping service! It’s actually quite simple. You are matched with a personal stylist and they send you a box with five items whenever you need, but you can request recurring boxes (the options are seasonal, every couple of months, once a month, and every 2-3 weeks). There is a styling fee of $20 per box, which is credited to anything you purchase. It is free to return anything you don’t want or need! I’m planning on writing a more in depth post about the styling, checkout, and return process soon, so stay tuned for that! To sign up, you can visit Stitch Fix’s website and take the free style quiz. Also, please feel free to use my referral link here!

Daniel Rainn Casi Ruffle Trim Crochet Blouse in Burgundy ($74) — RETURNED: I really liked this blouse when I pulled it out of the box. I love burgundy, and lace, but I didn’t like the sheer lace panel, how hard it was to button in the back, and how itchy the lace was.

Faith + Zoe Amelie Knit Skirt in Navy ($48) — KEPT: This is an ideal summer skirt. It’s flowy, navy blue, and goes with anything. I love that I can wear it casually or to work. It also goes with most tops in my closet. In the summer when it’s 98 degrees, I always want to just pull on a really easy, airy skirt, and that’s what this is!

Daniel Rainn Riton Tie Neck Silk Blend Blouse in White ($78) — RETURNED: This was my least favorite thing I’ve ever received from Stitch Fix. The outer layer was completely sheer and so gauzy. It wasn’t flattering at all.

Franco Sarto Kristina Suede Strappy Heel in Green ($129) — KEPT: I am completely OBSESSED with these shoes! I love everything about them: the color, the heel height, the straps, and the suede. They are so comfortable, and I can’t wait to wear these with a nice black or white dress in the summer.

Skies are Blue Asa Ponte Blazer in Light Gray ($78) — KEPT: This fit me like a glove, and it is so comfortable. I really need blazers and I thought this would be perfect to add to my wardrobe. I like that I can wear it to work, but it’s a sweater material so it can also be worn casually.

  1. Oops, I just saw your link for the You Tube video. In any case, not everyone wants to take the time to watch a video, so still photos of the outfits on you would be helpful for those who just want to skim through the post and see the various clothing items.

  2. Thanks for sharing your Stitch Fix review. Just a few suggestions to make the review even better: Please try on the pieces and post photographs, even if you don’t like a particular item. It’s a lot more helpful to see what the clothing looks like on someone. This may sound nit-picky, put please steam or press the clothing before photographing. Your photos are nice and clear, but it’s kind of annoying to look at wrinkled clothing. Otherwise, great post!
