TIU Bikini Series Check In | Week Four

This week was a massive failure, and I’m not okay with that.

Nutrition: My nutrition this week was the worst part for me. I had two good days, and then fell completely off the wagon. First, I didn’t have enough self control when Evan ordered a pizza one night. Then, my boss ordered free pizza for the whole office. Then there were free doughnuts at the office. Then there were a couple of meals where we went out to eat, and I didn’t stick to the nutrition plan. What a bad job I did! I clearly have a problem with self control when it comes to food. I’m trying to figure out how to get over that. It’s SO hard to resist delicious restaurant food…especially when it’s free at the office and I need a pick-me-up.

Blueberry Chia Muffins

Workouts: My workouts this week were all over the place. I missed my workout this morning, and modified a lot of moves two other days. For the two remaining days, I did a fantastic job and got amazing workouts in. I love working out, but sometimes finding the motivation can be hard. I also have a lot of difficulty with some of the TIU moves, especially anything with a side plank (or anything that takes a long time to do…but that’s more my short attention span).

Mind: I was in a pretty good place all week in terms of mental health. Which is surprising, because I typically become a PMS monster around this time of the month. I think I could’ve been better about meditating, but that’s about it!

Rainbow Veggies Bikini Wrap

Results: I’m not seeing any results this week. I’m bloated and almost feel like I’m starting from square one body-wise. That’s a hard truth to deal with, but I really, really, messed up this week.

Before I start complaining too much, I want to be optimistic and set goals for next week:

  1. Stick to TIU meal guidelines during the work week, and during our trip to Florida.
  2. Complete all workouts during the work week unless I’m not feeling well. Be active during our trip to Florida and spend a lot of time outside to make sure I’m getting a lot of exercise while traveling.
  3. Complete the weekly meditation challenge.
  4. Think more in terms of being healthy and feeling good, rather than in terms of losing weight.
