Stitch Fix Review No. 12 | June 2018

I’m really sad to say that I’m canceling my automatic Stitch Fix shipments. The service just hasn’t been good for me overall — the stylists don’t seem to understand what I mean when I say I want “classic” items only. I only seem to receive trendy items that really don’t fit in with my style goals.

I will probably give Stitch Fix another try in the future but, for now, this is a “farewell” review!

Market & Spruce Hersten Embroidery Sleeve Top in Teal Green ($58) — RETURNED: This top is lovely, but NOT for me. I actually gave my stylist a strict color palette to stick to, and this color is not part of it. Why she chose this, I will never know.

Kut from the Kloth Mollee Knit Dress in Navy ($88) — RETURNED: I just don’t know how many times I can stress that I only like fit and flare dresses. This dress hugged me at my midsection, which I usually like to conceal. Not a good look. And how many times do I have to say I don’t like cap sleeves?

Toms Deconstructed Suede Tassel Alpargata Flats in Taupe ($90) — RETURNED: Tassels? Trend. Nope.

Wrap + Weft Beth Frayed Hem Skinny Jean ($78) — RETURNED: Frayed hems? Trend. Bye.

Skies are Blue Alisson Chambray Top in Blue ($58) — RETURNED: This is the only item I understand as a classic: a nice chambray top. However, it did nothing for me and was unbelievably wrinkled. I just didn’t even want to go through all that steaming for something I wasn’t in love with.

Thanks for reading!
