I’m going to be completely honest here: I haven’t been excited for Stitch Fix at all since I’ve been shopping on The Lobby. For me, the value of Stitch Fix was that I could try on clothes at home and only pay for what I wanted. The Lobby is usurping them as my main shopping channel because I get all of that and I can choose my five items, which equals a higher success rate. And — dare I say it? — The Lobby has cooler clothes.
Here’s what I got this time around from Stitch Fix:

Liverpool Tinsley High Rise Skinny Jean ($88) — This was a nice pair of red jeans. I’m not much of a colorful-jeans-wearer, but I gave these a shot. Unfortunately, they fit in my hips but gaped at the waist (I’d like to see how many time I’ve said that phrase on this blog — probably 100 times by now). Returned.

Pistola Kaine Top ($78) — This piqued my interest because it was funky and different. I thought this top would look nice with a pair of distressed jeans and some funky boots. I LOVE leopard print accessories like shoes and jackets, but there’s something about leopard print clothing that makes me feel like the exercise cat from Halloweentown, and I’m sorry, but that’s just not my journey LOL. Returned.

FP Movement Free Throw Ribbed Performance Top ($30) — I always need sports bras, so I was excited to see this. It was pretty tight around the seams, and the ribbed fabric felt heavy. I’d prefer a cooler fabric for sports bras. Returned.

Marc Fisher Footwear Bravi Quilted Leather Loafer Flat ($89) — I don’t know how I feel about these. On the one hand, I feel like I should like them because they’re black and quilted. On the other hand, I feel like these are something an evil Ministry of Magic employee would wear in the fifth Harry Potter film? I’m really sorry for being wildly subjective today, but it’s how I feel. Either way, they slipped off the back of my foot when I walked. Returned.

Vince Camuto Damina Popover Top (88) — Did I not say this last time? If a shirt is plaid, tartan, or tweed, it shouldn’t be flimsy. It just feels…WRONG. It makes me cringe a little. Returned!
Apologies for being a little sassy with Stitch Fix right now, but I’m just not loving them as much. I have another review from The Lobby coming up next — that will be much more optimistic.
Thanks for reading!

I LOVE this totally honest review. They have been off their game lately. I literally returned my fix 4 days ago that I received 8 days ago and my next fix (suppose to arrive dec 18) is ALREADY IN PROGRESS!!! makes me wonder if they are trying to get them out before christmas. I didn’t really like anything they sent you in this fix, although I did like the quilted shoes just the quilted part lol

Thank you! Agreed — I’m hoping they’ll be better again once things are back up to speed. Whenever that might be! And yes hahaha, love the quilting, not so crazy about the shoes.
